Will I have access to both resorts?
Yes. If you purchase a ticket for Dominican Holidaze 2016, you will be able to access and utilize all amenities at both Now Onyx and Breathless Resort & Spa.
When do we check in and check out of the resort?

Check-In begins at 3pm on December 1st, 2016. Check-Out is by 12pm on December 5th.

What is the currency in the Dominican Republic?
Dominican pesos.
Is there an ATM at the resort?

Yes. It is located in the lobby of Breathless & dispenses Dominican pesos. Fees will apply.

Can I pay with US currency at the resort?
Yes, however your change will be returned in Dominican pesos.
Can we exchange currency at the resort?
Yes. You can do this at the resort's front desk. You must bring your passport with you in order to exchange currency.
Where can I keep my valuables?

Every room at the resort has an electronic safe. We strongly suggest placing your passport, wallet, cash, and any other valuables inside as soon as you arrive. Dominican Holidaze is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

What are some of the amenities I can enjoy at the resorts?
The resorts offers many outlets for you to make the most of your stay. Some of these include:

Are reservations required for dinner?
Reservations are not required at any of the restaurants, except at Silk City. You will need to make a reservation if you wish to eat at one of the teppanyaki tables.
Will vegetarian & gluten-free options be available?
The resort has a variety of food available to guests with various dietary needs.  There will be vegetarian & gluten-free options available at all meals.  If you haven't already, please update "Your Profile" by logging into your Cloud 9 account and completing the Dietary Request section.
How much do I tip?

Tipping is customary but not expected for hotel staff such as bellmen & housekeepers.

Is there a dress code during the event?

There is no dress code during Dominican Holidaze, however shirts and shoes (flip flops ok) are required in all dining areas.  If you plan on coming early or staying late, the restaurants do have a dress code so think resort casual but be sure to bring a pair of pants with you.

Is there a doctor available on property for any medical needs?

There is a qualified medical doctor on call 24 hours a day. If a doctor is called there will be a charge put on the guests's room. Guests with any pertinent medical information or specific medication needs are asked to notify Dominican Holidaze in advance.
